The project is an extension to an existing summer house situated in Nesodden, a peninsula in the Oslo Fjord. The new building is partly placed under ground with a large terrace on top. The main volume however, is placed north west of the existing house: This to protect the out door areas from the northern wind and at the same time preserve the wonderful view and sun conditions at the site.
