Together with a series of young nordic designers, Fantastic Norway was invited to participate in the exhibition “At Work With” at the 2010 Venice Biennale.<\/p>\n

We were asked to contribute with one week of work where the studio move into (“At Work With”) the Nordic Pavillion. The concept behind the exhibition series was to exhibit how young designers are working, rather than representations of architectural projects.<\/p>\n

In the invited period Fantastic Norway worked with and developed a project affiliated with the camping culture in Norway. During the week we developed a series of new prototypes of the “spikerteltetet” (a permanent housing extension of a caravan) that could attract new user groups and new meaning to camping culture, while existing values are retained and taken seriously.<\/p>\n

Fantastic Norway’s contribution contained elements of sociological analysis, interaction, innovation, challenge, chance, meetings, workshops, waffles, objects, dreams and surprises.<\/p>\n

Fantastic Norway ble til Venezia Biennalen 2010 utvalgt blant en rekke, unge Nordiske formgivere til \u00e5 delta i utstillingen \u201cAt Work With\u201d.
\nVi ble bedt om \u00e5 bidra med en ukes arbeid hvor praksisen \u201cflytter inn i\u201d\/ \u201der p\u00e5 jobb p\u00e5\u201d den Nordiske Pavilliongen i Venezia.
\nPoenget med utstillingsrekken var \u00e5 utstille hvordan unge formgivere arbeider, \u201cp\u00e5 jobb med”, heller enn
\nrepresentasjoner av arkitekturprosjekter.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fantastic Norway arbeidet i den inviterte perioden med og utvikle et prosjekt tilknyttet campingkulturen i Norge. Vi utviklet i l\u00f8pet av uken nye prototyper av \u201cspikerteltetet\u201d som vil kunne trekke nye grupper og ny meing til campingkulturen, samtidig som de eksiterende verdiene blir beholdt og tatt p\u00e5 alvor.
\nFantastic Norway\u00b4s bidrag inneholdt elementer av sosiologisk analyse, interaksjon, nyskapning, provokasjon, tilfeldigheter, m\u00f8ter, workshops, vaffler, gjenstander, dr\u00f8mmer og overraskelser.<\/em><\/p>\n
