The buildings main purpose is to give Åbygg AS a new headquarter in Åfjord/Norway.The building is also designed with four student dwellings in the second floor, with purpose to host the companies interns/trainees.
To create a more vivid and visually active expression, we have divided the roof in “slices” and reversed trusses.

Furthermore, we have shuffled some of these slices to create a distinct entrance and sheltered outdoor space. Due to the buildings dual purpose (commercial and dwelling) two entrances are established on each sides of the building.
