”Kakafoniet” is a feasibility study done for Sparebankstiftelsen. Their ambition is to establish a 12000 square meters cultural house in Kvadraturen/Oslo within the location of two old, classical bank buildings.  The project is aimed towards kids and teenagers, with focus on cultural activities, learning and socializing.

The project navigates from three main concepts: Establishing a new public spaces in the original two first floors of the building, creating a characteristic circulation system binding the rich variety of programs together and dividing the two buildings into one production – and one exposing area.
